Tuition and Costs

Washington’s New Sales Tax

Beginning October 1, 2025, a new Washington State law (ESSB 5814) will expand the sales tax to include “live presentations,” which has been interpreted to apply to career training programs.

As a result, for all enrollment contracts signed on or after October 1, 2025, Washington Spa Academy will be required to apply a 10.2% sales tax to tuition and program fees. This adjustment will be clearly reflected in each Enrollment Agreement.

Although this statewide change will increase overall education costs, Washington Spa Academy remains dedicated to transparency, proactive communication, and student support. We are committed to guiding our students through this transition while continuing to deliver high-quality, career-focused training that prepares graduates for success in the wellness and healthcare fields.
