Massage Therapist Job Opening in Des Moines, WA
We are seeking a skilled massage therapist to work in our growing business. Ascension Wellness specializes in pain relief and injury treatment and works with many insurance patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to clients’ well-being with professionalism and expertise. Starting wage: $32 to $38 depending on experience plus tips per massage hour. We provide all marketing, lotions, linens, and laundry. In addition, you will have the use of a salon top hydraulic table and a spacious treatment room. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Requirements:
- Washington state massage therapy license
- Liability insurance
- A cover letter, resume and three references included in application
- This position is for 1-4 days a week, 4-5 massages per day
- Must be available to work late afternoons and evenings (You can choose how many hours you want to work and which days. Options include: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Saturdays from 2:15-8:15 pm)
- People-oriented and have good communication skills
- Professional, responsible, and organized
- Able to perform Swedish Relaxation and Injury Treatment Massage
- Insurance credentialing strongly preferred but not required (especially Regence or Aetna)
