We are seeking a skilled and client-centered Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) who is passionate about therapeutic bodywork and whole-person care. This role is ideal for a provider who values autonomy, collaboration, and growing with a purpose-driven wellness brand.
Position Overview
The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide customized therapeutic massage treatments that support stress reduction, recovery, pain relief, and overall wellbeing. This role requires strong technical skill, professionalism, and the ability to create a safe, nurturing client experience. The ideal candidate understands that massage is not just relaxation — it is an essential part of preventative and restorative health.
Responsibilities
- Perform customized massage treatments (Swedish, deep tissue, therapeutic, lymphatic drainage, recovery-focused, etc.)
- Conduct thorough intake assessments and adjust sessions to client needs
- Educate clients on aftercare, stretching, hydration, and wellness practices
- Maintain accurate SOAP notes and documentation
- Follow all Washington State sanitation and licensing standards
- Maintain a clean, calming, and professional treatment space
- Hold space with presence and awareness, adapting treatments based on both physical cues and energetic sensitivity
- If trained and mutually comfortable, incorporate optional energy-based or mindfulness techniques to support relaxation and restoration
- Collaborate with other wellness providers when appropriate
- Collaborate in the creation of educational and behind-the-scenes social media content to support client engagement and brand awareness
- Engage professionally with potential clients through approved marketing channels
Required Qualifications
- Active Washington State Massage Therapist License (in good standing)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Professional, punctual, and reliable
- Client-focused with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated while also collaborative and team-oriented
- Open to growing with the brand long-term

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ year of hands-on experience
- Experience with therapeutic, injury-focused, or recovery-based massage
- Knowledge of integrative, holistic wellness, energy healing approaches
- Interest in long-term growth with the brand
- Experience in a spa, wellness clinic, or multidisciplinary setting
