Sherry Duan serves as the Executive Director of Washington Spa Academy. She is a Licensed Instructor, Massage Therapist and Master Esthetician who brings together hands-on industry experience with strong leadership in business management, finance, and marketing. Her diverse background allows her to guide students not only in mastering technical skills, but also in building successful and sustainable careers in the wellness industry.
Sherry is an accomplished executive with a proven track record of developing and leading successful business ventures across multiple industries. She is passionate about education and committed to creating a learning environment where students feel supported, confident, and prepared for real-world opportunities.
She holds a certification in Business Management from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, and a Master of Science degree from Washington State University. In addition to her work in the wellness and education fields, Sherry is also an experienced researcher and a PhD candidate in Biochemistry and Statistics. Her unique combination of scientific training, industry expertise, and business leadership helps shape a forward-thinking education for the next generation of spa and wellness professionals.
